PackworldUSA, a manufacturer of precision heat sealing equipment, and TOSS Machine Components, Inc., a key technology partner of PackworldUSA, will jointly exhibit advanced heat sealing technologies at PACK EXPO East 2026, taking place February 17–19, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. Exhibiting at Booth 1201, the companies will highlight solutions that enhance process control, sterility, and productivity for packaging machinery OEMs and end users.
PackworldUSA will feature the PW3400 Series Heat Sealer, a versatile, precision-driven system for medical device, pharmaceutical, and other critical packaging applications where validated, repeatable seals are essential. Constructed from cleanroom-friendly stainless steel and anodized aluminum, the PW3400 Series incorporates a fanless, wipe-down-ready design that supports stringent sterility and cleanliness requirements in controlled manufacturing environments.
PW3400 enhancements focus on usability and rapid adaptation to changing production needs, including quick detachable jaw bar electrical connections that allow operators to swap identical rebuilt jaw bars to minimize downtime or change bar length and construction for new applications. Added through holes on vacuum machines enable faster removal and replacement of jaw assemblies, while new multi-point and single-point temperature calibration options help meet tighter process windows. An eight-point calibration mode optimizes accuracy across the operating range, and a single-point mode delivers tighter tolerance at one critical temperature when maximum precision is required at a specific setpoint.
TOSS will spotlight its PIREG-548 Touch-Screen Interface Terminal, an advanced operator interface engineered to elevate real-time temperature monitoring, control precision, and system integration for industrial heat sealing applications. Purpose-built to pair with the PIREG-C2 line of DIN-rail-mounted in-cabinet controllers, the low-voltage PIREG-548 is designed for direct panel mounting and communicates directly with the PIREG-C2 controllers to create a unified, responsive control architecture.
The PIREG-548 delivers real-time graphical and numerical display of the heating element’s temperature, enabling precise monitoring during every sealing cycle and giving operators immediate feedback on process performance. Users can set desired sealing temperatures via the intuitive touch-screen interface, simplifying setup and adjustments while helping reduce downtime and variability in production environments. By reading the resistance of the heat sealing band directly, the combined PIREG-548 and PIREG-C2 system achieves rapid and highly accurate temperature measurement, eliminating reliance on thermocouples during the sealing cycle and supporting consistent seal quality.
